ORTHOTICS

ORTHOTICS

Foot orthoses (commonly called "orthotics") are devices inserted into shoes to provide support for the foot by redistributing ground reaction forces acting on the foot joints while standing, walking or running. They are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance and help reduce stress and strain on your body by bringing your feet back into proper alignment. They can help with the following conditions: plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, shin splints, muscle fatigue and various pain in the back, hip, and knees. Poor foot function such as fallen arches, hammer toe and bunions also can be the cause of various pains such as foot and heel pain, ankle pain, shin pain, knee pain or hip pain and low back/pelvic pain.
